Kelly Sheehan has produced
nonfiction programming in television and film for two decades. At Rainlake,
she guides the development, production, distribution and marketing efforts
for independent feature documentaries that are televised and screened
around the world. Recent films include FOUR SEASONS LODGE, theatrically
released by First Run Features starting in November 2009, CROSSING ARIZONA,
which premiered in competition at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and
was broadcast on Sundance Channel, and FOLLOW MY VOICE produced in association
with Sundance Channel and featuring John Cameron Mitchell, Yoko Ono, Rufus
Wainright along with many others.
Previously, Sheehan served as head of production for the Emmy Award-winning
media company Globalvision where she supervised documentaries for television
including COUNTING ON DEMOCRACY (2002 ITVS presentation for PBS), NKOSI:
A VOICE FOR AFRICA'S AIDS ORPHANS narrated by Danny Glover (public television
broadcasts in 2001) and WE ARE FAMILY featuring Spike Lee and Diana Ross
and many others (2002 Sundance Film Festival premiere, New York theatrical
release, Trio Channel broadcast). She has also served as supervising producer
on ABC CHILDREN FIRST, a series of broadcast specials for ABC-TV hosted
by Diane Sawyer, Elizabeth Vargas and other network personalities. She
was senior producer for the CNBC primetime series USHUAIA: THE ULTIMATE
ADVENTURE, and creator and series producer for 86 episodes of the human
interest magazine series TILT 23 1⁄2, which was telecast in over
70 countries worldwide. Working with director Nathaniel Kahn, she also
developed the Academy Award-nominated feature documentary MY ARCHITECT,
released by New Yorker Films and HBO.

Served as head of production and supervising producer for this Emmy Award-winning media company specializing in television journalism. Supervised the content and production of twelve half-hour broadcast specials for ABC, a multi-year public service campaign, produced independently-funded documentaries and work-for-hire broadcast programming, and special event videos. Supervised all aspects of multiple productions in every phase from budgeting and story development through production, editing, sound mix and final delivery. Responsibilities included serving as primary contact with clients including network executives, generating and overseeing all budgets, negotiating contracts, hiring and supervising a staff of 5 – 10 people, content oversight and managing all in-house resources including three in-house edit suites.

1997-1998
Served as Senior Producer on 22 hours of the reality-adventure series Ushuaia: The Ultimate Adventure, executive produced by Unapix Entertainment for NBC and based on the popular French primetime series. Responsibilities included casting the host and voice-over talent, negotiating contracts, supervising the design and production of the show open and graphics, reporting to NBC Entertainment and CNBC executives and producing studio shoots. The premiere season on CNBC captured record primetime ratings for the cable network.

Created the concept and format and produced the pilot plus 86 half-hours for the human interest magazine series Tilt 231⁄2, offering family audiences an entertaining look at off-beat and unusual stories from around the world. Canada TV Guide described the series as "observing the absurd."
Working closely with executives at Fujisankei Communications International (Fuji TV), hired and supervised all personnel, generated and managed the series budget, served as principle editorial voice for the series, working closely with creative staff from story development and scripting, editing and final delivery to broadcasters in over 70 countries worldwide.
